Jet Ski Brian

I couple of weeks ago I did a post titled “A Sad Night” about how one of the juvenile bald eagles off of my front yard got electrocuted after it landed on a power pole. Just thought I would do a follow up post about the two surviving eagle.
Last week Virginia Power came out and hopefully remedied the problem by putting a T-Bar on top of the pole that is below the eagles nest. This should allow them to land on the bar, not the wires. Until the other one got killed I had never seen them land on the pole.
They juveniles have been routinely flying around and seem to be doing well. Here are some pictures I took this week of the Juvenile and adult eagles around my yard. Also a couple of other shots of the osprey and a heron.
